New Brunswick Genealogical Society
Genealogy Folders in the Cabinet Files at the Saint John Free Public Library: The genealogy files listed in the table belong to the Saint John Branch of NBGS, and are on permanent loan to the library.

Click on a letter range to view the surnames. Some family names have more than one envelope in the file cabinet; some envelopes were scanned in two parts.

The files contain a variety of material including genealogies, correspondence, copies of original documents, transcriptions, newspaper clippings and much more. Some of the material is sourced; some is not. Much of the material pre-dates online research. Some material is in poor condition and did not scan well. Some material on large-format paper was scanned in two parts and the information may overlap. We were not able to scan the oversize charts.

Pioneer Families of New Brunswick - a series of newspaper clippings from the Telegraph-Journal, from 1943.
